Description
Adults form large aggregations high above the bottom in rocky areas around caves and ledges. Benthopelagic. Collected from 183 m. Spawn from December to June. Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding. Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate. Males guard and aerate the eggs.
