Description
Adults inhabit rock pools and vegetated river margins over sand bottom. Feed mainly on filamentous algae. Eggs are guarded and fanned by the male parent. Aquarium conditions: pH=7.5, H=10, 28°C, egg layer, peaceful community fish.
