Description
Found in small streams with gravelly bottom. Prefers slow flowing riffles, a bottom dwelling species. Found in lowland and wet hollows. Feeds on detritus and debris matter. Spawning occurs in backwater pools and stagnant water bodies mostly after the monsoon rains.
