Description
Prefers grassy bays, canals and nearby fresh water, avoiding tidal flats. Also found in marginal fresh waters. 18 cm max TL. Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium. Feeds on small crustaceans and other invertebrates.
